Critical comments on Rush' 1974 debut album Rush by e.g. Jeff Woods, Tank Montana, Paul Garvey, Tony Dolan, Dj Danger and Karl Douglas. In 1974 John Rutsey played percussion/drums in Rush. He died last May at the age of 55. The album Rush consists of the next tracks: Finding my way, Need some love, Take a friend, Here again, What you're doing, In the mood, Before and after and Working man. My personal opinion of this album is that it's rock in its purest, most basic and uncomplicated form. My favourite track is Finding my way. By the way, the sample that is played by Paul Garvey is a Passage to Bangkok, from the album 2112.

  • Why are they talking about Rush in past tense? Rush is still VERY much around.

  • I have this DVD. They're only acknowlegding Rush's body of work up to "Moving Pictures" and "Exit...Stage Left". "Signals" and beyond they won't acknowlegde for some reason. Maybe they don't like the keyboard on "Signals". I don't know! There's even one guy on this DVD that said had Rush gotten killed in a plane crash, their body of work would be better appreciated!

Sorry, I think "Snakes & Arrows" is an amazing album. To hell with these guys!

  • Rush has progressed from a basement band into a superband, if u don't agree listen to 'Dreamline' 'EarthShine' and of course, 'Tom Sawyer'. Geddy Lee has improved into a musical genius.

  • Hall of fame all the way!!

  • I emailed Rush asking to reduce the price of their tickets at the Gibson Amphitheater in L.A.

The tickets are fuckin expensive, FUCK!

  • it is too their best album every single song on that album has an awesome solo and awesome lyrics. and the song "here again" is one of the most under rated fucking songs ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
