kc7fys- 1. this is an extremely small cross section of TESC population. 2. These guys made mistakes just like anybody else and later made amends for it. Thats what the full piece was about but I didn't include it because frankly, it's kinda boring and these stories made me laugh. 3. Quit acting like the rest of American college's shit don't stink (with regard to drug use).

@AnthonyPreciado I agree with you; Evergreen is fairly consistently seen in this light. There's something to be learned from that. I am an Evergreen grad. I'm not sure why people can't see past what we hear in these anecdotes--but apparently they can't. There will always be a school or schools in the US with this demographic profile--and TESC seems to be that school. So be it.

@kc7fys Maybe those things should stay just that-- anecdotes. There's too much good work, and far too many good people at TESC for your generalizations to hold any weight. Why is Evergreen constantly singled out for this criticism?

So many anecdotes related to TESC involve illegal drugs and folks with this sense of entitlement toward authority figures. Freedom is good when it's balanced with a sense of discipline and responsibility. Evergreen, unfortunately, is out of context in contemporary America--now that there isn't a stiff, suited "man" to rebel against. Today it appears to be a bunch of drawling slackers with a diminished sense of responsibility, and a lack of focus. This place should change with the times.
