  • @thomasjharrisfarmer the advantage of a center pivot over hard hose traveler (kind that's got the walking gun that's dragged across the field) is labor n simplicity. Center pivot, flip on the switch, set your end tower percentage run time and walk away. it does all the work. Hard hose traveler, though cheaper initial investment, requires many pulls in a big field. Hard hose travelers shine in small fields or where making a circle (trees, electiric lines, oddly shaped fields) are impossible.

  • @thomasjharrisfarmer different size nozzles all along the pivot. The outside wheels move further to get around the whole circle so their nozzles are calibrated to spray out more water. Sprinkler heads closer to the center have less distance to travel and therefore have nozzles that allow less water out. over all very accurate and even irrigation over the whole field

  • ha ha israely tecnologe in arabs hands

  • @maxdrobot he is acting like he doesnt know what it is so that people like you would learn. Not everyone know what center pivot irrigation is you dumbass.

  • osama bin laden is back! sorry but i wasn't trying to be racist

  • This is called center-pivot Irrigation, made in the USA. There are several of these operating in Israel as well, but we also have other techniques which save even more water: a. Drip irrigation is best but not always possible with large fields, so b. popup sprinklers with central irrigation computer also do the trick (though more expensive), and the computer can be programmed to water at night, right before dawn.

  • there is a towel on your head buddy..

  • intresting trick of irrigation..

  • @hempseed57

Nope, its pretty cheap, installation of it is rather expensive (the one on our farm is $120 000 CND)
