Details on my PC and how I record footage using FRAPs:
I record on my home workstation (i7 930 at 3.5ghz, 6GB Mushkin DDR3 RAM, EVGA GTX 480, and 7 hard drives [80GB SSD for the OS and there's a 1TB WD Black drive for the video).
Game Settings: Mix of Ultra and High [Beta settings]
I record at 50fps not for Youtube, but so I can do true slow motion. A 30fps clip at 50% speed is only 15fps, but a 50fps clip at 50% is 25fps.
