@rainpouring James' voice was awful in that film, I feel. The charm of Thomas is lost when it's not narrated.

The engines having individual voice actors actually bothers me more than the CGI does to be honest.

If you look closely at Hiro's front coupling as he's being pulled into the Steamworks you can see a chain attached to his front.
And in "Hiro helps Out" you can see he has a chain coupling on his tender. :-\ Minor things, but at least HiT was thinking (to my surprise)! :-)
