simple rope lock for a pulley system

Here's another use for the RopeTie. For those who are familiar with this product which has many uses, here is a way to add a rope lock to a pulley system. It allows the user to lock the rope at any point to have both hands free to do another task. When you get back to the pulley system all you have to do is give a firm tug to let the cleat release the rope.
It takes seconds to attach, and it's just as easy to remove.
