Cummins 12 valve Lope

My 1994 Dodge Cummins had a leak in the fuel line letting air get in and making the engine lope. Not really a good thing but it sounds nice.

The 24v being faster than a 12v is actually true. I have a 2000 2500 24v 100% stock and a 1996 12v 100% stock and I have to say the 24 has a little not much more but a little more pep in its step.

@Abby391641 I believe the 24 valve is faster but I dont think they run better. They're less reliable, more expensive to work on and you can spit on a 12 valve and add power.

How do you like those towing mirrors? I'm thinking of getting them for my 98' 1500 5.2. Are they sturdy or do they vibrate alot when unfolded? Thanks

@lomira123 I love em, and they're pretty sturdy, I don't even have the brackets for them your supposed to have.Even unfolded they're fine. I just used a stack of nuts as spacers to put them on and they're still tight as a virgin.

@warewolf40 I think you mean 24 Valve and 12 Valve....not Value... or at least I hope you do. And I respectfully disagree. 12 valves don't eat pumps like frosted flakes.
