Jamie's POV:
Cody and I waved and walked off the stage holding hands. Everyone backstage clapped wildly and yelled things like "Great show" and "That was awesome."I couldn't rip the smile off of my face. It felt glued there. Finally, after the show, we all met up at Katsuya, Cody's favorite restaurant, and talked about the show. My parents saw how much Cody and I actually care for each other, they could see it in our eyes. I just hoped Cody wasn't lying to me about the Sterling dude. After dinner, Cody and I went our separate ways and drove home. I texted him while in the backseat of the car with McKenna and McKenzie. I still didn't know how I could tell which was which.

I saw Jamie's car drive past us as my parents pulled slowly into the gate. We all climbed out of the car and Tom instantly jumped on my back. "Good job!"He yelled into my ear. I laughed as I helped him stay up. "Hey dad, can Jamie come over tomorrow for a night swim?"I asked them. My dad raised his eyebrow. "Why?"He smirked at me. I shrugged. "We're both busy tomorrow. We just want a chance to see each other."I asked. "You have to get used to being away from each other, Codes."My dad explained. I sighed, I knew it was true. If I was going to pursue my music career, I had to go on tours. Tours meant being away from Jamie for long periods of time. "I'm fine with it."My mom said as she walked behind us. My dad knew there was no way to argue with my mom. We were all scared to do it. The woman could win any argument. She was captain of the debate team all 4 years she was in high school.

My mom drove me to the mall and we both got out. My mom led me to the girl she wanted me to meet and I instantly remembered her. "Rebecca?"I yelled. "I go by Bailey now!"She yelled back. I kept eating my chick-fil-a as I felt someone grab me. They picked me up and tossed me into the car, all while covering my eyes. Finally, the person blindfolded me. I felt the car start up. It felt like hours in that car. The person picked me up again and slammed me down on the cold hard floor. I yanked the blind fold off and looked at who it was. "Who are you?"I stared up at him. The man just shook his head. I could tell he had been crying. All of a sudden, he pointed a gun to my head.
