Notion Ink Adam + Goliath Protection

Got my Adam yesterday and just wanted to share my first impressions and personal setup. +1 for Button Savior app as it allows hardware keys to become software (no fumbling for the buttons at night). Also a huge shout out to Roebeet from Notion Ink Hacks for all the hours he's put into EdenX, it's brought the Adam so close to its full potential, and it's incredibly easy to install with or without an external SD card.

@nuyawker2000 I'm using ACV for comics, for pdfs i generally just use adobe reader or if they're books then I have it in my aldiko library.

@nuyawker2000 for RSS? I'm using pulse and minimal reader (minimal reader mostly just for widgets). Pulse is really fancy has a great layout and lots of great features

How did you get the Live wallpaper to work, because when I download it, it says its not compatible.

@rambothan I was using EdenX at the time, what ROM are you using? There was no issue for me, I just installed it as usual from the market and it worked

So when is the case coming out? I am quite interested in using Adam as a Laptop replacement (your case with kickstand + USB keyboard will work) - all for a reasonable price. Not too long ago I spent $2000 on a windows XP Tablet PC. Times have changed :).

@kavaliauskasm once Adam is rooted, and a custom rom loaded (very easily done) you have complete access to any app you could find for android. The best rss reader I've found is called minimal reader. It lets you link to your google reader account and select which feeds to display in the widget, then cycles them in custom intervals. Its a really great looking app with a lot of possibilities.
