  • It appears the Viper was taking a defensive inside line most of the time to try to prevent the Evo from passing.

  • what? the first corner was early apexed. thats not understeer.

  • I think the first corner was a drag race vs the Viper and see who can brake the latest... :P

  • i like to see sse evo on this track..... that would be interesting

  • @dnow100 cold tires cold brakes young grasshopper.

  • Typical Evo driver mentality- if you can't win fairly crash into the other driver.

  • @SkiracerBlah idk looked like the evo got left at the last corner

  • the viper is obviously faster, something went wrong, that little wiggle wasn't normal... looks like the evo understeers alot, and cant get on throttle as quick, the viper pulls on him from corner exit out... i'd rather have the more evenly balanced viper any day...

  • Here are the facts of that race:

Manny was driving the Viper. Kent was driving the Evo.

Manny was on old busted Toyo street tires (shaved.) Kent was not.

Laguna Seca is Kent's local track.

It was Manny's first time ever to Laguna Seca, learning the track.

Kent (evo) passes Manny when the Viper's alternator belt breaks and the car loses power steering... and pulls off the track right away before it overheats.

Kent and his evo have beaten like 5 different race vipers, so Kudos to him!

  • Both drivers did well. In a close race like this, not taking into consideration all aspects related weight, handling, and tire wear, it's the driver with the better composure during the last lap that will win.

  • listen to that evo understeer.

  • terrible line into 1 and 2

  • that evo a bucket of shit handel like a wet sponge go dodge
