Ammonium Nitrate mixed with Magnesium to make flash powder. a piece flew off the mix and hit my finger and kind of hurt. lol. enjoy!

  • @yoho951 (NH4)NO3 is a good oxidizer, don't get me wrong, it depends on its grade ie. regent, technical etc. Mesh size is important as well obviously, (NH4) NO3 is hygroscopic so use it asap. KCLO3 is also very sensitive, but KCLO4 is always the best route for O2 content and stability. hint Cu compounds =blue Sr compounds=red Ca = orange KNO3 = yellows KMno3 oxidizers are good for purples......remember Al Mg Fe Ti are all good fuels. Mg and Al are harder to get nowdays
