Grand Island FD Basement Fire - 303 Park Pl

Grand Island Firefighters responded this evening for a report of smoke coming from the eaves of an unoccupied dwelling on Park Pl. Safety 3 went on location with heavy smoke showing from a 2 story new build dwelling still under construction. Operations reported fire in the basement with Extension to 1st floor. Structural Collapse of the 1st floor in the 1-2 corner. Mutual aid companies were Sheridan Park, Brighton (FAST), & City of Tonawanda (fill in @ Headquarters). The fire was under control in 44 minutes.
