Aaron's New 2010 JG M4 S System w/ Full Metal Receiver + 2008 Model comparison

Hello Everyone,

So it has been a while since I've tossed something new on youtube. Sorry for the lengthy video but I just purchased a new 2010 JG M4 S System from Hong Kong which comes with a full metal receiver, metal hop up, and mosfet preinstalled.

The gun is practically identical in every other aspect. However, the annoying stock wobble is gone. The paint on the gun is much more rugged in texture than the grey abs plastic.

Also, after my last game a few months back, I realized that my gun's stalk was chipped and a bb was lodged inside when someone's shot hit my gun. I love the 08 model and it is still running great after over a year of use, but I just wish they had come out with a metal body sooner.

The gun does around 430fps with .2's
In this case the orange tip was much easier to remove than on the 08 model. You still have the same small hex screw to remove before proceeding to twist off the orange tip (clockwise to remove), however, it was easy enough for me to screw off with a slight twist.

I am contemplating selling my 08 model which still has an upgrade air nozzle and systema hop up bucking installed. For those in the bay area, ca. Keep an eye out on craigslist or message me =)

what you had said in the very beginning is exactly whats wrong with mine! can you please tell me how to take it apart to fix the trigger assembly? pleasee i don t wanna pay the $130 they will charrge me to fix it

@djwyankees How's it going? Have you ever taken the gearbox out before? If not, find a video on M4 V2 gearbox disassembly. That should show you the steps. That is how I learned. Next open up the gearbox carefully as instructed in the videos and locate the loosened trigger assembly. I believe it was a matter of clipping a spring back in place and popping something back in to alignment. Should be pretty straightforward when you see it. It's been a while for me so I don't remember exactly. Goodluck

did you order from RSOV? They always paint more than just the flash hider orange...

@kalashnikob1 yea i did, I think that's hong kong law. I think here in the states or at least california requires a minimum of 1/4". Guess they require 3" or something.

@Splazerman089 Got it sent over from HK. You are probably better off looking for a more localized one. Check your online stores for a full metal M4 and you should find some results. GL

Is the M4 S-system the same as a M4 RAS with flip up iron sight?

@aaronyuen85 thanks man, ive been taking my gun apart and its been successful, im just waiting for my mom to take me out to get that screwdriver to unscrew the buffer tube off the upper receiver, thank you, without that comment i probably would have been sitting here thinking about what to do still, once i get in there ill look at my trigger assembly, thanks again :D
