PROLOGUE

Four choreographers and twelve of Swedens most promising young dancers. Together they create Prologue, a performance in four parts inspired by Nordic literature.

The four choreographers creating one piece each are Israel Aloni, Hlín Diego Hjálmarsdóttir and Toby Kassell from The Göteborg Ballet and Peter Svenzon from Art of Spectra

NUDANS is a seasonally-based dance company consisting of a selection of final year students from Swedens professional ballet schools. NUDANS has been created to help and promote recently graduated dancers, an initiative taken by the Göteborg Ballet.

This spring of 2009 twelve students have been invited to participate in NUDANS and to perform in Prologue, which has been created exclusively for them.

Prologue will have its world premiere on the Small Stage of the Göteborg Opera on the 5th of June 2009. The production will also tour West Götaland during the coming autumn.
