@DXfanization I understand its generaly accepted as a way of honoring him, I just think it's sort of macabre and not realy representive of the feelings and state of mind he wanted to share. ...its seem more like a reminder of the pain and suffering forced onto him... It's all about the dying for our sins...all the guilt, but not so much the forgiveness.

@GoblinWeenog It is a symbol and a reminder of what he did. We preach christ, and that as crucified. In the communion we figuratively eat His flesh and drink His blood. A ritual that He Himself inaugurated.
It is not disrespectfull. It is a way of honoring Him.

you should seriousy think about this, if someone close to you was brutaly murdered, stabbed with a knife for instance, would you turn that knife into a symbol representing that person? it seems so disrespectfull to who he realy was.. I don't think anyone wants to be remembered by how they died, but rather by how they lived. Christ wanted to spread love, joy and compassion...It's one of the greatest tragedy's off all time that they managed to turn him into a symbol of fear, guilt & pain.

Jesus was a good guy. I think every religion has some meaning to it.
I'm just more of a iconoclast in the sence that i don't want to label the divine with a single name or image, i think all honest religions on this planet come from the same source within human beings. it's just important to focus on love and compassion instead of fear & guilt.
thats why i object to the crusifix, why all the focus on his death and suffering instead of something in remembrance of his message of love & peace?

@darkwings10001 The time in question had me going to a casino trying to win a few dollars so I could walk to a porn shop and rent some videos. I lost my money and returned to my apartment to take a nap. When I was near a sleep-state, Jesus came (not showing Himself) and wiped away some black filth (with a tissue) that was at the front of my mind and said, "Just because you belong to me doesn't mean I won't punish you."
I replied: "I'm sorry Father, it's just that I'm so bored."

@picklejuicemonkey actually he won't when the second coming comes he will abandon this world and take all his children to heaven where we all belong and earth will become the new hell
@SuperAnon9001 It's called faith. We BELEIVE. God and Jesus give us purpose, for they created us. If you wish not to believe, that is fine. But do not try to diminish the faith in others just because you do not beleive. Christianity is the most popular religion in the world, so there must be some truth. God Bless You.
