hi im just wondering, when ur phone fell and broke the screen. was the screen still functionable?

my girlfriends iphone fell and it cracked, but the screen still works but the touch sensor wont, she cant slide to unlock the phone or anything. does this have to do with the lcd screen?

@Zenro02541 The glass on top IS the sensor... so it might be broken, or maybe the connector popped out inside the phone... either way, it's probably worth fixing...

@BMTHvsADTR Check the screen connections - something isn't plugged in properly. You can also try to reset the phone through iTunes...

@KarotiVerch Hello, Open it re-assure the connectors are really connected completely and are NOT broken not even a lil bit. Then close it up and reboot it! Holding Power Button and Home Button together for like 15 seconds! Then turn it on normally! You Welcome!

This was a really bad tutorial for showing how to replace the screen. Alot of mistakes and very little form of professionalism. I really can't recommend this video to anyone. Sorry.
