now if you make salsa, and steam all the peppers, after chopping up the cilantro and peppers and union with tomatoes, served fresh and pretty hot, will it stain into the bpa free plastic or keep any odors? i have the ninja blender and it does that. its also bpa free. I love salsa :)

was just wondering ,since it is a food processor also, wouldn't it have been easier for vitamix to have made the base a little wider? would be easier to get food out ? probably a question for vitamix? just love your demo's, please do more recipes? :)

@paula3280 Hello Paula - there is a TON of engineering and every aspect of the design has a purpose. The narrow bottom works with the shape and angle of the blades to create a vortex which sucks everything down to the blades in the center and it travels back up the sides. I too wish that it was easier to get things out of the bottom, but I would not give up the performance. Vitamix sells 3-pack spatulas that are excellent for getting into the corners of the containers

Oh, and my memory is not so hot - when you say the same thing over and over 30-40 times a day, it's pretty easy to remember ;-) I'm not going off of a script I memorized, I just throw out information that I know - after doing this for 3 years I started hearing common audience questions and began answering them in my presentation before they are asked!
