are you going to put on the tail pipes? i'm considering taking the ones on my 6 off, and just doing a turn down set up underneath, cuz i've had many clearance problems between the tires, fuel tank, and brake lines.

any other mods planned?

i'm interested in hearing how it sounds at higher rpms too.

im planning on doing a h/c/i swap in a few months

along with that a slit port swap

and im planning to keep in n/a

dont do turndowns. i had them but hated them. they only sound good on a built motor. right now the tailpipes exit right by the gas tank. it pretty much sounds the same with the tips on.

oh thats cool. i plan on doing a split port swap also, but i wanted to get a forged 4.2 bottom end first, because when i do the split port swap, i wanted to also swap it with ported heads and manifolds, and my old stock bottom end probably won't be able to handle that for long. i've had the motor rebuilt twice already.

i'm sure turn downs wouldn't sound too bad. a few of my friends have them on their sixers and they all sound good, from the built ones with blowers to just the bolt on ones.
