We are having problems with ours. How do you remove the head without breaking it? I read that sometimes the ribbon cables come loose and I want check.

@mattybuggy You should not need to remove the dome to check the ribbon cable connections. They are soldered onto the board in the dome. If you want to check the other sensor connections, though, you would need to remove the dome. First you would need to remove the back of the body (I think it is six screws), then you will see two screws attached to a bracket that comes down from the dome base on each side. These would need to be removed...

@mattybuggy ...After that, a bit of careful prying should get the dome to come loose (It is secured into the top of the body with something like double-sided foam tape. You might also need to pry the base of the dome away from the rear panel when removing it.)
If you want to remove the dome from the rotation base, this can be done by accessing the dome screws through an access hole visible under to black rotation base...

@mattybuggy ...If you slowly rotate the dome you should see the screws appear through the hole. If I recall correctly, if you remove the dome from the base you do not need to pry the whole assembly away from the body. Taoworm did a tutorial that covers the disassembly process. Good luck!
