  • hey aerodynamicband, I say its better as you know what your putting into your rifle as in quality parts and no the standard stuff.

  • Sleepsnoors, This rifle was lost of fun to put together. I still am searching for an M4 upper that I want. Cost wise everything turned out smooth for my current setup. (see my completed vid.) Other M4 rifles can be found priced just right in the store if you shop around but yes this is a special rifle because I know what is in it. This was my first run at building it without any knowledge and the vid show my first attempt with success! Wish every one well and ask questions if needed.

  • is buying a stripped lower and upper and assembling them cheaper than buying an assembled ar?

  • To aerodynamicband and sleepsnoors, both are right. I had lots of fun and pleasure putting the rifle together. Although the upper was purchased pre-assembled due to the circumstances but had lots of fun putting the lower together. I was also happy that the lower was so easy to assemble. True, I know my rifle better because i put it together myself. Cost wise, for similar types I'm saving about $400 but some factors vary. The M4's have a good choice in the store, ready to take off the self.

  • Just in case you haven't read the news, the rifle is complete!! Search my other videos for news and the latest videos! Thanks for watching!

Details and special information about the new setup in my new video.

  • next time do it with a stripped lower i mean DOWN to the gutz dumbazz

  • I am surprised that you didn't get a Reciever Block that would have made it easier on you as you put it together. Great Video Bro Keep up the great work and keep the muzzle down range and keep on rockin

  • Great video That was a good Idea using a wooden malet. The music ROCKED Im going to get my 2nd AR in parts so that I may put one together.Any ideas on a good manufactor for getting parts kits?

    Thank You

    Clayton

  • If this is for instruction why not talk people through it instead of the "music"?

  • Your information on the direction of the detent pin for the selector assembly is correct. The other guide was wrong. I'll pester them instead. Nice vid.

  • Another guide said that the detent pin for the fire selector should go into the whole with the point facing out of the whole. I'm not sure which is correct but it seems to me the purpose of the point is to align the spring with the detent pin to prevent binding.. I'm going to find out which is correct. Just a heads up.

  • i rather use mil spec trigger kit . No need to buy fancy trigger kit.

  • @uraijit Also, installing the front takedown and detent, another HUGE copout. That's the second hardest part...
