@IwillKillYourCereal Have you read the books? He was a great boxer and a master of the Single Stick (Kendo) Martial art. Also, a Hollywood film is always going to be full of action and grandeur... But I have read the entire entire Holmes canon and watched the film expecting disappointment but it is very accurate. Most of the dialogue is lifted straight from the books.

@OmgitsNeens It's not all action. It actually has a lot of the stuff that made the old Holmes stories so great, but the action actually helps the movie move forward.

is it me or the part of "be a lady!" wasn't in the film?

I noticed that too! I think they cut it out or something.... Its kinda disapponting right?

did i miss the point in which Rachel Mcadams is super sexy or did it not happen in the movie?

@CCrockyourass Really? Did you read The Adventure of the Empty House? Holmes knew how to handle himself in a fight. And if you watched the movie (I am going out on a limb and say you haven't), Watson was not a side kick, but a trusted ally which Holmes could not do without. It does not mock it, the only thing it mocks is the fact all you know about Holmes is what you learned from those stupid Basil Rathbone movies.

@TheNextVinceRusso Like when you look in a mirror?

Sorry, there's only one Sherlock Holmes; Nicholas Rowe.

I think it looks worth a watch. It's just a shame that i don't know of a site where i could watch it before it's officially released, ah well...
oh yes, because when I think of sherlock holmes, I definitely think of boxing, explosions, and ninja girls
