That's not a 26" tv. More like a monitor. But how can u like av cabls but not like component.

@MyVideosOnYT1 it looks small on video. it is a sanyo 26 inch hdtv. and av is just 3 wires red yellow white. component is red white green and blue. av has colors on one end and one connector piece on the bottom. component has the colors on both end. its to much. hdmi is easier and looks much nicer

Component is the same Quality as HDMI. HDMI is only "better" because it is one cable,Sound in as said one cable and it dosent matter what HDMI cable you use they all work the same because it is a digital Signal.

Component is an Analog Signal but in general it is the fkn same. HDMI is more user friendly that is all.

Just look around "Component vs HDMI" Google or youtube etc. I used my PS3 with component and now HDMI because yeah one cable but it looks the freaking same no difference whatsoever.

@mikachuuu i agree with you halfway. the organization is better because theres one cable, but i personally think quality isnt the same hdmi has a more crisp picture, and sound is also better. if you search for a side by side comparison you will notice the difference. but thanks for the comment, im open to all criticism

Omg, your off you head, Component & hdmi is the same full HD, it's just HDMI is just the one cable (Video & Audio)

@TheGasbaggersVP I have news for you bud, Component is actually better than HDMI because the three colours R=red,G=green, B=blue which make up the entire colour spectrum, are split into three separate signal cable connections with component which retains a more pure richer colour and deeper blacks because there is no signal loss, in HDMI unfortunately all three colours of R,G,B, are intertwined with audio in one single cable which makes it impossible to retain the same quality colour signal,FACT

@mikachuuu Component isn't bad but HDMI IS better. You cannot play true 1080p through component. Even if you tv says 1080p it's only being upconverted by your player and isn't true 1080p. If you're not seeing the difference it's because you don't have good enough tv to display it properly. If you're trying to watch a side by side comparison on google (lol) you're definitely not goin gto see anything.

Component is analog and hdmi is digital that's the only reason it look's better. And audio is downscaled when it's through hdmi unless you have the new hdmi cord's.
