This horse is a rescue. A Tennessee Walking Horse who is incredible. Though his name is Wildfire, we call him Forest. This was taken the day we brought him home. His story is that he was left in a sand corral when his owner died, no hay or grass. Barely enuf food to sustain life and no attention. When he was rescued he almost died, sand colic. His rescuer fell in love with him, but due to land and too many horses issues decided to find him a new mom. That is me. I adore him, he has the sweetest kindest soul. I've always had mares, he is my first gelding, what a delightful joy he is. My home will be his forever home.

  • aww how sweet!

  • How sweet? The person in the video is the same one you commented on our other video how awful we were because we were flickin off the camera, had a dog "mock" smokin and horrible music. Sitting at home making nasty comments about others lives tells me YOU need to get a life. How about rescuing a horse. We have 5 rescues we feed and give health care to after nursing them back to health. We don't have time to critize others. Thanks!

  • You guys are awesome for rescuing horses :)

I'm only 16 but when I'm older and have the money I am opening an animal sanctuary for every single kind of animal

I am also going to try to rescue as many horses as I can

  • I find it funny how we both rescued Tennessee walking horses. My horse was emaciated when I bought him. The person who had him said he was about 1 year, but I looked at his teeth and he wasn't more than 2 weeks and already weaned. Hes going off for training soon, he's going to be a jumper/barrel racer just robotics that Tennessee walkers don't have to be elegant little dressage horses

  • How cute!!! Hahah he was like -yonk- got the hay whahahahah >.< om nom nom so yummy! :3

  • good for you! i think you did a great job, the horse seems beautiful and sweet! i say keep up the wonderful work! don't listen to ppl who will drag you down and say negative things about what you believe in! i believe you'll make a big and amazing difference!

  • When I grow up I want to run my own horse rescue too. The idea of giving a stranded horse a home is something that can't be beat. Not just horses but any animal. I will make sure that I find those who have mistreated animals and send them to where they belong!

  • Thank God for people like you all! I love what you did and it is nice to know that he is one lucky horse that will have a forever home. Aren't happen endings sooo HAPPY!
