@4iamu Ooops I forgot to add that first time orders on Hello-Music get an extra $25 off so that would make the price $125 for the YRG. Believe it or not I really don't work for Hello-Music just trying to advise folks of good deals I run across. Goood luck.

@4iamu Your welcome. By the way the YRG is now on sale at Hello-Music for $150. They have daily deals on the site and sell the stuff till it sells out. But I have seen the YRG on the site 3 times already (including today)

@BGoldtone Cool! Thanks for the information friend!!

@4iamu Also there is a website called Hello-Music that often sells this guitar for $150

@4iamu I just now saw your post from 4 months ago with a question on midi keyboard compatibility of the YRG.In answer to your question the YRG does trigger hardware synths and the midi channel is select-able.
Go to the official YouRock Guitar website and ther you can download the users manual FYI. Good luck.

Only owned real guitars. I want this but im Broke :L

Looks like they've really improved the sensitivity of the string triggers for finger picking. Wish they would come out with a more pro model....

Hey, thanks for sharing this wonderful demo of what this instrument can do. BTW, do you have any idea if this thing can properly interface with a Roland Fantom G? I own a Yamaha EZ EG and can't figure out how to get the midi channels to line up with the instrument correctly. It appears that Yamaha designed this guitar midi controller to have each string assigned to its own midi channel. Is the You Rock controller designed like this?
-
@chaoskings35 it has control buttons with various presets, or you can create your own presets.

@Meatman23 thats exactly where its power lies..controling vsts and giving the guitarist the chance to play different instruments. You dont buy the thing to play guitar. You buy it to play piano, sax ,horns bass ,drums, violins and any midi you can think of on a guitar interface without having to break the bank to do it.Those who want to play a guitar...simply buy one. This thing is a midi controller.A very useful one.A diffe rent tool for a different job.
It's a sweet product, but i feel it's use would only suffice when using it with Reason or Logic or some other production program.
