I have a question for ya.

Birds eating my plants as soon as they start coming up.

Tomatoes and vines(water melon, cantaloupe, cucumber, squash, zucchini etc...).

Out side of sitting there with a gun picking them off 24/7 what can be done?

Try bird netting over your beds. Make a hoop house and cover it with a net. Should handle that.

@sukumvit that's Not a bad Idea actually! All my cat does is just lie in the sun al day in the front yard anyway, might aswel make her keep guard in the back garden.

Hmm, apples are the kind of fruit you shouldn't cut of the tree; you should wait until it falls on it's own or pick it only if it comes really easily of the tree.
