this is interesting stuff to think about. at this point i'm of the opinion that juicers, dehydrators and blenders are great tools for people, like myself, just beginning to integrate more living foods into their diets, and even someone who is already eating mostly raw foods but still has psychological attachments to food like most of us probably do. ultimately my (personal) goal would be to get from better to best... eating simpler, more "natural" dishes. thank you for your perspective.

really like your videos because I feel I really learn a lot from them. I am a vegan but not yet a fruitarian. I feel like I am not ready for it but I know it is the way to go. being a vegan and reading books about plant based diet there is always the question about the b12. it's like there is hardly any research on how a vegan would cover their b12 needs. right now as a nursing mother I take b12 supplements but only because I don't know what else to do. what is your experience with that?

juicing aint that frankinsting the food.. you can easily chew on some celery lets say.. chew it chew it swollow juice and spit back out the fiber or hard matter.. your body only aborbs the juice anyways the fiber becomes the crap...

Interesting , but of course i could only agree if i'd experiment with your philosophy on my body. Now i know juice feasting is not the way to go, and also know that hight fat raw is only the way to go if you need to work your ass off lifting construction materials all day. So to find the perfect balance between all these philosophies is hard.

Matt, I totally agree with you when it comes to the raw food folks who harp on getting blood work for proof that we are doing this thing right. I live my life the all natural way, so to speak. And the more I get into my studies of alternative medicines the more I am convinced that this is what's right for me, for my body, mind, and spirit. Thank you for sharing your ideas, your philosophy.
Peace and Blessings

Thx Matt, I will try to do more whole blending as opposed to the juicing of carrots. Starting today. Bob
We could then break it down further to say that juicing sweet fruits and vegetables isn't a good idea because of the sugar rush; however, juicing wheatgrass, kale, spinach, sprouts and other green vegetables has proven to be quite beneficial.....Gersen Clinic and Hippocrates Health Institiute, and Tree of Life are all healing very sick people using green juices as the base of their therapy. Sick people may need drastic intervention at this level. It does seem to be working at these clinics.

@ravendream33 I hear you, but the natural hygiene solutions are (at least) just as effective and those practices don;t involve mechanical intervention which continue to perpetuate a system of manufacturing and industry . Just working for treating the issues at hand is only a piece of a very important whole.

@TheLiveFoodist what do you think about a diet based on geens and sprouts with a little fruit?
ive read a lot about to much sugar even from fruit feed candida viruses yeast and cancers...even on low fat diet

@TheRawbboy Those facts are about the "harm" caused by sugar are highly disputable and that argument seems to be at a standoff as both sides have their own set of "facts". However, I don't see how it is possible to have a diet of mostly greens and sprouts (sprouts are fat btw because they are seeds) that is low fat AND raw. You would have to eat all day long and consume so much volume to meet the calorie and nutrient requirments unless you were eating cooked grains and legumes etc.
