Different Strokes For Different Folks - 48 Hours 2011 - Quest Film - SOLO

As part of the V48 Hours Furious Filmmaking 2011 competition, I animated a short-film over 2 days. All music was also composed and recorded over that weekend, as was the voice acting. I thought it turned out better than last year's efforts, but would be keen to hear your feedback in the comments!

As quest films go, I wanted to avoid making a 'joke film' that mocked the fantasy film staples of the genre... but I also wanted to avoid hoky mysticism too. So, hopefully this film reflects those two key aims.

Of course, as part of the V48 Hours competition, it had to incorporate the following elements...
Compulsory character: Bobby Young, an ex-bully
Compulsory prop: A bit of bent wire
Compulsory genre: Quest Film
Compulsory line of dialogue: "What have you got?"
Compulsory technical element: Freeze-frame

@Foffie120 haha, I had 2 hours' rest. You're looking at 40 hours' work, if I subtract travel to and from the venue, showers, and meals.

@dmccpictures animation is a hard one like that (especially doing it alone!) All good, Jay was actually giving me a running commentary of what you were up to during the weekend - so I had to see what was made.
