My response to the recent ones: "Well, just look at all the fucks I give, these people are just getting their fan-boy juices all over everything, like it affects the music how the bands name is spelt and pronounced"
... I think MUCC's last worry when it comes to their music is how people spell or pronounce the name of the band ;)

@JrockNerd Actually, a few years ago I asked Miya and Yukke how the band name was pronounced and it's totally said as MOOK, I even had my friend on the phone with me when I asked them because she was arguing with me about this. You can't argue when it comes straight from them ;p

oh ok. well thanks for the correction. i'll never misspell Mukku's name again.

@itagthewind
No disrespect or bullying intended, just being a slight language-nazi, and thought you should know how to spell the name correctly if you find them being as nice of a band as I do :P.
Yeah.., MUCC or ムック, is how you write it, the transliteration of the katakana is mukku, but you never use romaji that way with their band-name.

@JrockNerd like i came to give the band props and you're trying to language bully me. hahaha

@JrockNerd if mucc is the only way its written dont protest me, protest the website my friend. i'll write it the way its written in many places "thank you". lol

@itagthewind
Yes I'm a fluent Japanese-speaker, thank you, I've heard where their name comes from a long time ago, just telling you...
You never write "mukku" my friend, "ムック" in that case or
"MUCC" is how you write it, such is their bandname, and "MUCC" is not an american way of writing their name, they use that rather than katakana themselves, and there are other countries in the world other than America in which people don't use katakana aswell ;).

@JrockNerd MUCC / MUKKU (ムック) are a Japanese rock (J-Rock) band formed in 1997. The band's name, decided upon by guitarist Miya, was originally the name of a character from a Japanese children's program Ponkickies.
The band is also known as 69 from a play on words, since six-nine can be pronounced "muku" (六九) in Japanese.
