My Generation Cover performed by FinishLine

FinishLine the classic rock band from Texas performs My Generation which is one of their all time favorite Who songs. It is not an exact copy of the original (who can pull that off anyway) but their interpretation of it. Band had a blast doing it and hope you enjoy!

thanks for the comments. Just a heads up the band has just got back from the studio and the first two songs from their upcoming CD are mastered and will be up on i-tunes in a few days. Lots of new videos have been shot and will be released soon.

thanks for all the comments and suggestions. Even the criticisms are cool with the band because it all just helps make them work harder to be good at what they do. Just keep in mind this one was done 3 years ago so the band has learned quite a bit since then. We hope you check out their newer stuff and as always all comments positive and negative are welcome. Stephen used the hi-gain boost on the G&K bass amp maxed out for the tone on bass solo.

I love this version... John Entwhistle is my favurite bassplayer of all time so I am really seriously critical of The Who covers, but you guys nailed it. Even The Who never played it the same way twice, just look at some of their concerts!!! Keep on rockin'!!!!!!!

I think you guys have to respect the song to the max. With no effects, and less exaggerated.

Something else, do not choose a Who song. Let's say de John Enwistle plays a "little" more than any other bassist.

I would clode the hi-hat and put two fingers on the bass and get rid of the effects. Too many symbals and the song is pretty good. You're almost there but not quite.
