Okay I think Im going to moan in every videoPLEASE PEOPLE COMMENT? Really, is it THAT hard? My motivation is like 22% atm, and its that much because of those people who do comment regularly. Thank-you SOOO much if you do comment and rate my videos. The ratings are also bringing me down, I actually only get like one rating. Guys I have an issue with that. Is it my irregular posting? Im so sorry for that but Im sorry to say school is rather important to me and I need to focus in getting good grades. For now I will post, to see if people actually listen to me. Sorry if I made you a bit miserable with all that but thats how I honestly feel. Now to the story.
Chapter 52- Surprises
*Joes POV*
That Wednesday was one of those days were I was beyond hyper. Why? We were going home for Christmas after what seemed like months and staying put for a good 3-4 weeks. Yippee. I was really high on the plane, I felt sorry for the air hostesses. Mom did calm me down a little by shouting at me, but I think I passed the hyper bug to Frankie, since after I had calmed down, he went mental. Ah I guess thats what sweets does to a 6 year old.
It felt good to be home after a long time. I headed straight for my room as we got in the house, Nick followed me and Kevin and Dad groaned because we left them to take out the bags. I breathed a sigh of relief as I jumped into my bed.
"Home sweet home," I heard Nick murmur as he snuggled up in his bed. I looked out the window, a heavy dusting of snow had cover the whole lawn. Then I looked at the house next to us and saw Rah sitting at her dresser trying to get tangles out of her. She looked really cute. I got up from my bed and made my way to my window. I opened it and shouted.
"SARAH!" I turned around immediately, a smile spread across her face.
"Joe?" I saw her mouth. She left her table and ran up to her balcony.
"JOE!" She screamed all excited as she came out. Its cold, she said and went back in to pop on a hoodie. With that I ran downstairs and out the house, then knocked on Sarahs door.
"JOEEYY!" I was greeted with a huge hug from Sarah. I squeezed her back tightly before reluctantly letting go.
"Hey," I breathed as I touched her cute button nose.
"I missed you," she said, taking me inside.
"Joseph," I heard Aunt Al say,
"Hey," I replied as I went up a gave her a hug.
"Is your mom home?" she asked, I replied her with a yes.
"Okay, Ill go see her in a minute."
"Coolio," I replied before I was dragged upstairs by Sarah.
"Okay, guess what?" she squealed as we sat down on her bed facing each other, he face gleaming and radiant.
"What?" I asked, really keyed up
"I might be in team USA for the 2008 Olympics!!!" she screamed once again. I sat there frozen. It couldnt be.
"Oh, My, God," I said. This was amazing news
"I KNOW!!" she lunged at me again and hugged me.
"Ima gunna be a superstar!" she was buzzing with excitement.
"Congrats," I said, not letting go of her. I realised then how much I really did miss her and her hugs. She pulled away.
"So, how are things on tour?" she asked me.
"Well, you know, its tiring but Im loving the response from people!"
"Well now you can rest a bit, and spend Christmas at the fair! "There was a fair every Christmas at a park near us. We used to go up until two years ago.
"Yeah, its gunna be awesome, just me and you," I whispered the last bit, not thinking she would notice.
"Oh, everyones gunna be there, and Matts gunna be er... my er...date," I heard her say. Back up. Did she say that Matt dude was gunna be her date?
"Your--your date?" I questioned. I looked up at her and saw she was looking down at her lap, twiddling her thumbs and blushing a bit. Oh no.
"Yeah, he kind of asked me out on... on a date, nothing else, just to get to you know...." she trailed off, getting up and moving towards her window to close it.
"Oh," she practically has a boyfriend.
"Hes not my boyfriend or anything like that," she added, as if she knew what I was thinking. I dont know why but it made me feellonely, like theres something missing. I shoved that aside as I heard someone shout my name.
"JOE, GET DOWN HERE!" it was Kevin,
"COMING!" I replied back.
"I guess you gotta help at home," Sarah said has she grabbed my hand again and we made our way downstairs. It felt weird this time, the fact that she was holding my hand. Strangely I didnt want to let go but deep down inside, I knew something was going to happen that would probably separate me from her. I was scared of losing my best friend for the first time in my life.
