@Blubberbot Me? I played drums on Interim Resurgence. I also bought his guitar - on the cover of "Looser Than Clams" that he played on all the early classics like Heart Attack and Art Band. I also am the photographer of the cover pic on Water II and he credits our (then) band "The Next Big Things from Britain" as his favorite band. :) Sure miss that guy. :(

Never released on vinyl. I have the original board tape from September 4, 1999 on CD. NIce show: PaperBag, etc. I played bass as usual and the ad art by Cal Schenkal will confirm the date. -W

Yeah - I got that, too! Zoogz was a nice guy, we could talk about anything. When I was in my early 20s I wasn't a bigtime ply-til-your-fingers-bleed musician (I'm still not) and he has his choice of far better musicians than me. I was the drummer for Interim Resurgence and on Island of Living Puke I'm the one who says "and the winner is... Zoogz Rift! Island of Living Puke!" on "I'm Happy".
I also bought his guitar that he used for many classics like "art band", "heart attack", etc

Wow very cool. Did you play on other songs? I have some records but Zoogz had an online deal and I bought all his songs on CD ROM.

no, just this show. Zoogz was great, but unfortunately not at his best. I think it was actually a benefit for his health problems...

Cool! I have about 6 LPs and most of the rest of his stuff on MP3. I interviewed him over email for my zine and talked at him on message boards. Seemed like an outstanding dude.
