@enscroggs The Battle of Quiberon took place starting on June 23, 1795 and Louis XVII died the 8th of June, so t'would be Louis XVIII restoring the monarchy. Which makes sense, since he helped to plan the failed invasion with his brother, the future Charles X of France.

Louis XVI was guillotined 21 Jan 1793, so they can't restore him. There are two other Louises: the uncrowned (died June '95) Dauphin and Louis XVI's younger brother Louis Stanislas Xavier declared "King Louis XVIII" on 16 June '95. Thus 1795 is implied by events. When one man dies it is a tragedy, when a million men die it is a statistic.

The Admiral doesn't even go back to see if this heroic young man lived or died. Typical of those who make decisions of life and death for thousands. They keep in their own little bubbles and eat their steaks.Cheney and Bush should be forced to go to every military funeral of those they have help kill. Not that any of the families would want them there. Cheney and his money hungry friends who wanted this war for $. And I bet we're paying him wonderful benifits now that he's out of power.
