1974 at the Asheville, NC Civic Center was my first ever rock concert at age 15. It was the James Gang with Tommy Bolin on guitar opening up for this Edgar Winter lineup touring in support of this album. House lights down, stage lights up, pot smoke filled the air---Dan Hartman wearing feathers and Ricky Derringer running around onstage like a maniac. I was blown away. I had to do that. Got a bass guitar & amp and was in a rock band within 6 months. You never forget your first time eh?

nice to be with company that also loves this style!! I was picked at a lot over Edgar's wild compositions and then for loving Kiss Alive; This lp for me was his very best - it definitely wasn't a copy of other styles

When I worked at recordplant in late 73 this was the first album I ever saw get made
these guy's were a class act,true pro's,Edgar would come in the studio as did rick
dressed like rock star's these guy's were great,Dan hartman played some fantastic
guit part's checkout"Some kind of animal" and Miricle of love stand out track's.
