My 2008 Pinarello Dogma FPX custom built ride:
Frame: Triangle & Chain Stays are Magnesium, the remainder is carbon.
Components: Campy Record 10. Bottom Bracket Bearings are Campagnolo Super Record CULT ceramic. Wheels by Lightweight all Carbon/Kevlar, including carbon hubs. Total weight (excluding water bottles) is 14.39 pounds. As seen $15,000.00.
In 2008 this frame type was hand-built in limited numbers at Pinarello's factory in Treviso, Italy for racing enthusiasts. This was the same frame type which won Óscar Pereiro's 2006 Tour 'de France (after Floyd Landis was disqualified for doping). As magnesium was expensive and the frames difficult to build, Pinarello soon began their quest to develop the best carbon frame on earth, starting with the Prince model, soon to be followed by the introduction of the asymmetrical carbon frame used on the new Dogma model.
In case you wonder about the ride quality, with all its' carbon it rides like a new Bentley, but handles like a Lamborghini -- all power placed to the pedals instantly turns the dual-tied and bonded rear wheel.
The cassette is Campy Record all-ti 23-11
Tires are Tufo Elite Jets 220psi max (tires recommended for time trials, only).
Thanks for viewing -- Cheers!

Thank you for your gracious comment, it is well received. Even though this machine weighs 7 ounces more than its' carbon sister (frame-wise) all of your energy is transmitted directly through the magnesium chain stays right into the tie/bonded Lightweight carbon wheels -- the AK61 magnesium is truly a joy to ride.

Every piece was priced out, and the wheels are by Lightweight -- they just happend to be expensive, for I wish they were less costly, then perhaps I might have several of these rides. Thanks for the comment, and ride on :)
