@CharlieDoan the skx007 and 009's are made with Hardlex. Even the Spork model is. But the sapphire crystal upgrade is just....epic.

I am getting a sapphire crystal - its very hard to find flat sapphire for the skx007.
What would you recommend and why?
(ps seems domed is more popular?)

Nice! Do you know the source your watchmaker used for this sapphire domed anti-reflextive crystal? Also is the anti-reflective coating on both sides or one side? If one side, inside or outside?

yes. afaik, seiko divers are equipped by hardlex (less srcatch-resistant, but harder to break), not saphire.
bautiful watch, anyway.
