  • @tonysoldan I would suggest you look up Black Greek Lettered Sorority and Fraternities. They are rich in history, community service and education

  • Umm... wtf does tis video mean??? I'm greek and thishas nothing to do with Greece. Here's a reason to be greek: There are f*ing awesome beaches in greece (voted the best for holiday) and also we have not any crazy guys here. If you like colours? THis is bulls**t too. We greeks respect our tadition and history, but we hate each others, because some of us are fans of Panathinaikos Athletic Club and some of Olympiakos and this fact creates deadly rivalries. Yeah greece is normal. Protests: Always!

  • @tonysoldan This video pertains to Greek Lettered Sororities and Fraternities, not Greese.

  • why is it called the DIVINE 9? what does DIVINE mean in the context of these greek organizations? i get that there are 9 organizations. but divine? that's not clear to me.

  • @bfree2live It has nothing to do with being greek. It's just a nick name.

  • This video was very helpful and the don't were kind of funny but very true people want to join for some of those reason so thank you for bring light to the issue

  • Thanks :-)

  • My thoughts exactly, be yourself! My aunts are upset with me because they feel that I should become a Delta, but I try to explain to them that my personality and heart will always aspire to be a part of AKA. It hurts, but they will get over it soon.

  • @tonysoldan In a nutshell...it is called greek lettered..because of the use of greek letters from the greek alphabet...nothing to do with the country or culture of Greece. Black, meaning the group of people referenced..and finally greek lettered, meaning the use of greek letters..thus Black Greek Lettered Organization. We are for the good, not for evil. Advancement not set back. Service not slander. i encourage you to read about the history of black sororites/fraternities. Google it! :-)

  • @Thankyou3403 I wasn't trying to be meanspirited to Tony. The video had nothing to do with Greece. I did learn from what he said..I learned that he was just a bit confused, I was not trying to offend. I do hope HE did not take it that way. I would hate for Tony to continue looking at a video referencing BGLO's (Black Greek Letter Organizations) and thinking that it has to do with the place of Greece or Greek people specifically. He deserves to walk in knowledge not ignorance.

  • @MsSHElectricity Ahhh. Tony makes a great point. You should learn from him instead of correcting him.

  • @tonysoldan - you big dummy... LOL

  • @tonysoldan Sir, it is non of those things, it is not racist, facist, or connected to any such terrorist organizations of any kind. It is a unique yet collective coming together of a people traditionally denied admission into white clubs and organizations on College campuses. It was/is an avenue for African American students to join together with others of likemindedness for the overall pursuit and attainment of brotherhood/sisterhood, scholastic achievement, and service to the community.

  • @MsSHElectricity I have never heard of black lettered organizations? What do you mean BLACK LETTERED?

Is it the racist, terrorist, fasistic organiztions: Chrisi Avgi and Mavros Krinos. Or somethingelse?

  • @tonysoldan Sir, did you hear in the video that they referenced Fraternity/Sorority, Divine 9...that has nothing to do with the place or culture of Greece, but the organization/culture of black greek LETTERED organizations. So, it's ok sir..just relax. breathe.
