A "different" presentation from all other versions, with a member acting out (YES!)... Acting out, that is, as the Good King... with original graphics that elucidate the lyrics. Listen for the police whistle at "WHOA!" and see if you can catch any glimmer of the cartoon-style balloon captions which momentarily flash in members' hands, at about the same time as the "Whoa!". Dr. Don Krudop is the Chorale's Artistic Director. The "actor" is baritone Francis Sporer, who also created the graphics -- at great personal expense! (Whatever that means! LOL.)
Thank you for posting! I've grown up with PDQ Bach in the 1970s!
I am thrilled to have seen Prof Schickele do his PDQ Bach thing in 1979 at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia and again in December 2005 in New York City.
