These shoes on tumblr were my inspiration! I think they used all acrylic, but they are beautiful. http://interiordesignroom.blogspot.com/2011/04/unique-nebula-galaxy-shoes-wed...

  • ahh i just bought some black bootie wedges today and i wanna do this soo bad but im scared i'll eff up : / BAH! i just wanna send you my stuff lol

  • do you know if the paint peels off after wearing them? is there some sort of spray to put on for protection?

  • Does The Paint Rub Off in The Rain?

  • Me Gusta

  • This is a fantastic tutorial! What a great idea; your shoes turned out beautiful!

  • wow, i never even thought about doing that! cute. :3

  • @xBettyyy you can use oilpaint, I've painting 2 pairs of my own shoes with oils (zombie shoes and Super Mario) the only problem is it takes quite a while for the paint to dry and the smell of paint thinner lingers for a while.. its also a good idea to spray the shoes (no matter what paint) with a water sealer (like what you spray on leather or suede shoes)

  • that is very cute !

  • Are any kinds of paints okay? Like oilpaint?

Because wouldn't the colors on the shoes fade away when for example, it rains?

And btw, those shoes became really nice! :)
