@WTVBqdemon Actually, 720p stands for 1080px(width)*720px(height) progressive. 480p stands for 640px(width)*480px(height) progressive.
Also, this is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. You don't get HD out of an iSight, you just stretch the video from standard quality to HD, which turns it into a piece of blocks.

@MrMacTuts 720p the number after the first is the quality so 480p in 360 x 480 and 1080 is 720x1080
but youtube usually does 12080 instead of 1080
