Golsar

This is a video from my trip to Iran in the summer of 07'. We are driving through an upscale area of the northern city of Rasht in the Gilan province called Golsar. The streets are dotted with boutiques, fancy fast food spots, vendors and banks. Gilanis in general are known for their "enlightened" ways and "intellectualism." Golsar is more of an upscale neighborhood, so you might not find the most accurate representation of Iranian society, but this is a part of the bigger picture!
