  • In the 80's and 90's the gardaí and RUC did pretty much anything they liked to suppress republicanism including frameups, murder and what you see in this video.

  • I'd like to see you try you idiot.

Eibhlinn is worth a thousand of you, you would have been crying like a baby going through the same as she took on her chin.

  • go on the cops, bitch should rot in hell for the evil murders she and her cohorts committed. judgement day will come boys, its no good telling the big man ah sure it was a war. Murder is murder.

  • id ont understand why the gardai would be against irish people

  • @OisinGD while you were under the bed son...

  • @Prokick2008 Only if they walked into Newry as was shown in that ridiculous RTE show. If the free state army had sent in small groups of soldiers to nationalist strongholds to train and arm those willing the north would not have been able to survive. Instead he allowed things to continue and the only option to defend the people was to join the IRA.

  • @Irelandtogether had jack lynch sent the irish army on an incursion to the north he would have been deemed a criminal by the world court. any soldiers sent would have almost surely have been killed. it would also have given westminister the authority and international support to invade the south. dont forget that britain was still a super power with a standing army of 150,000 troops, navy and airforce. the british would have seized power within days. jack lynch saved ireland from a reoccupation

  • Is this common in Ireland and the UK? To release and immediately rearrest someone? I don't understand the logic.

  • what a waste of tax payers money

  • Garda/RIC

  • The garda are not supposed to take orders from London. That is sickening.
