This must be 1990 as the invasion took place then.

How come she wasn't so concerned about the "law of the jungle" when she was supporting Saddam Hussein throughout the worst of his atrocities in the 1980s? Weird.

So you're ill? Ah, you'd have to cross the NHS auxiliary workers' picket line. And then you become really ill... But no ambulance. The ambulance drivers are on strike.
Would you like to take the train to the hospital? Train strike. Ah, so Labour and the unions leave you do die. Ah, but you won't get buried. The gravediggers are on strike.
But don't put the body in the tip. The rubbish isn't being collected either! Britain before Thatcher was a shit hole, an East Germany.

Thatcher may have been a bastard at times, but she was our bastard, defending the UK unlike Blair, Brown, and the current crop of traitors, giving the Thatcher rebate back to the EU so that they can squander more money paying nonexistent farmers not to plant nonexistent fields for the criminals on the continent.
The UK is taking the bulk of immigrants from Eastern Europe. The French and the Germans refuse to take them. The UK's burden is greater, so the rebate should have been increased.

I love Margaret Thatcher. She is a true patriot. I would always want her fighting in my corner.
She stood against communism, socialism, and all the forces that undermined the freedom and majesty of the United Kingdom.
Pity the French. They still face the total failure of their roads and public transport systems just because some unionised workers want to negotiate a wage far above their worth in the labour market.
American envy us our Maggie. She was the jewel in Britannia's centurion helmet

@CloeBuckingham 'Chloe', I've noticed you have a tendency to write profanities and insults at people. That is nothing more than a manifestation of your inability to communicate and debate properly with others. You might want to learn civilised discourse and elocution at some point.

@CloeBuckingham I never said it was. More fool you for not doing your homework, and for refusing to deny the fact that the biggest terrorists on Earth are here in the West.

@yorkshire13579 Basra was never the capital of Kuwait! LOL!
This is the time in her career when she was domesticly unpopular in the UK, but when she had become a reveered international Stateswoman abroad.

Very true. It was during her third term that she really crossed over from being just a respected stateswoman to, as you say, a reveered one.
I often think that only in Britain could a leader of her calibre be ousted mid-term, without ever having lost an election, by thier own party! I still find her political assassination astonishing.
