Just moved to LA and stumbled upon their website. It will become my "new" favorite getaway. It will also be the 3rd sanctuary that I will be a volunteer at. I used to be a healthy meat eater, but after getting involved in these animal safe havens, my meat consumption has completely changed. I will not eat my friends. Everyone should get involved...especially if you have children. As they say, lead by example.
