No Q because the judge had us stop after Veni was hit by the sheep. All afternoon the sheep acted like this. When they would switch out sheep the Border Collies would have to grip them to make them move.

  • those sheep were not the best sheep to use on testing dogs, they should have used more dog broke sheep that would not challenge a young dog. the reason you did not Q was NOT because the sheep turned on the dog but because the dog kept diving in and blowing the sheep apart, instead of casting around behind and gathering them.. the ABHA rules state the a dog that consistently dives in and scatters the sheep should not pass. All in all you have a nice dog who seems to be keen on sheep

  • that was so great. we r taking Hardy to his first HCT experience in 2 weeks. Don't have any idea if he will perform or head back to the car. Venus did a great job.
