@sohamxD Yes, certainly it will work, but you need to update your iPod Touch to latest 3.1.3 firmware. Plug your iPod Touch to your computer and open iTunes. Press 'Update' button in iTunes. After updating then you can use Spirit to Jailbreak.

@emac2299 i got a tweak from cydia that i thought would let me fit more apps on 1 page on the home screen. but it was meant for the iphone 4 os, where it would let u fit more apps in one file on the home screen. it was useless on the 3.1.3 os, don't know why i was able to install it, but i tried to remove it, after it was done the button came up telling me to reboot the spring board, pressed it, now my ipod is stuck with a black screen with the loading circle in the middle, anyway to fix it?

@MrFLExin Now there is only one way to get back and that is by restoring. Put iPhone in DFU mode now. Ignore what you see on iphone screen. Put it in DFU mode and upload a CUSTOM 4.1 firmware (NOT 4.2.1) . How to do that, its video is on my channel. Follow it correctly , your iPhone will be back.

@irfanogre008 a tetherd jailbreak means you cant turn off your ipod basically to turn back on u would have to use your computer

a unterherd jailbreak means you can turn you ipod on and off freely

@emac2299 also my home button doesn't work, only reason i jailbroke it is so i could download ihome. guessin there's no way to put it in dfu mode without the home button?? but if i take off the rear panel, remove the battery and put it back, will the ipod turn back on? or what if i let the battery die and then plug the charger in and turn it back on?
