IMO the CryEngine uses WAYY too much CPU and GPU power...they could have done more work to optimise the amount of memory the engine takes up.

cry engine puts every single graphic detail on there games.

gears of war takes no skill. Unreal tournament is one of the most skill requiering games of all time. So is Streetfighter.

hey did i EVER say anything about unreal engine being good for ONLY futuristic games? i believe not. i have played AA3 and it runs pretty dam nice, but cryengine has detail that at some points is incomparable, and cryengine 3 is just nearly unbeatable.
