I've always idolized the the way he plays. He's not the best technically, but as a musician I think he's the best guitarist in the Philippines right now. He has the feel, and he knows how to use it. What I probably means is that there are faster guitar players around, people who can play scales and modes backward and forward, people with certificates from Berklee or the Guitar Institute of Technology or whatever, but their pyrotechnics often leave the audience cold.
