INTERLUDE WITH STRING AND FOIL

Showing a bit of the string and foil art techniques I learned at Gary Reef's ning site, "Lovin' Mixed Media". I used spray paint, stencils, wood glue, puzzle pieces, Sculpey clay object and acrylic medium as well. The piece had originally been done with wood glue, acrylics, using a batik-style layering technique. I then applied gold leaf and the Mona Lisa sealer. I wasn't too impressed with the outcome so I stated over with these techniques. I like it today, but who knows if I will tomorrow?

Omg! I missed seeing this. It's stunning! You are such an inspiration, Kim. I miss you. I've been sick for almost a year. Still sick.
