"Somewhere Between the Lines" - (Extended Original Trailer)

Summary: The (AU)trailer/movie is pretty self-explanatory. There is a lot of dialogue in it (in classic movie-trailer-style), so you should be able to follow along.

Disclaimer: Prior knowledge of the show or the characters is NOT NEEDED. Therefore, even if you haven't seen Life with Derek before, you will not be confused. Actually if you haven't seen LWD before, then it might be even better because then you can really view it as this brand new movie that you know nothing about yet. :D

Okay so I originally intended for this to be a regular length little teaser trailer...but then I thought...

"Why tease people about something that is fictional?"

I figured that'd be kind of the same as teasing someone about this amazing book that will never be released.

Anyways, so I made my own sort of Live Action Fanfiction Movie/Trailer. Now, I know that it's a tad long but relatively, it's much shorter than watching like 15 episodes of those fictional t.v. series episodes people sometimes make, lol.

About the making of the vid:
When I first started vidding I used to go through and plan (literally every second/scene) of my video. I still do that sometimes, but usually now I just have it in my head and then work as I go.

However, for this one I actually did write out an entire thing planning out what scenes and what dialogue I was going to use. And surprisingly, it actually made vid making process a lot smoother and less stressful. Hehe, so I may continue doing that from now on.

Side Note: Starting on Saturday I should be able to start getting my old shows back on my computer, yay!

This thing is amazing, I absolutely love it. Now I almost wish there were a fanfic to accompany it, but I think I'd rather a real movie. If only we could all pool enough money to pay the LWD people to let us make a movie with a script WE write. That would SO FRICKING COOL, dontcha think? =)
