Heh, given that they split up not so long ago it would have been awkward if they'd been married - despite what the nation's press may think, I don't believe they ever actually tied the knot. Would be good to see her in some juicy acting roles though, you're right!

I think she's just trying to speak from first-hand experience, rather than sounding like she's been briefed by the Soil Association. Definitely not a flagging career though - she just took some time out to be a mum. And she wasn't hugely active before that in terms of acting/presenting!
